Where did you graduate from?
University of North Florida – SWOOP!
What is your role at StageClip, and what does your job entail?
I am a Client Success Manager and I help our clients from the beginning to the end of the process and make sure that it is as smooth as possible!
Any advice for those currently graduating?
Enjoy your last semesters! College was such a great experience for me and I took advantage of every opportunity I was presented with. Get on your Alumni email list and stay in contact with your institution, you never know when an opportunity will present itself. Sometimes it’s not always about what you know, but who you know. If you have time between graduation and the start of your career, take that time to do something for yourself!
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I so badly wish I was a morning person and I really try to be, but I am 100% a night owl. I thought having a child would make me more of a morning person, but he is also a night owl, must get that from me.
What skill do you think everyone should learn?
There are a few skills that have helped me in my personal experience that I think would be beneficial to others. Being a macgyver, I will also try to find a way to make what we currently have work, whether that is in my personal or professional life. Sometimes this will save money, sometimes it will save time, sometimes it allows you to be extra creative, and then sometimes it doesn’t work and you need to go out and get something new. I also think street smarts and logical thinking are important.
What was the most recent book you read?
I just finished reading The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose. And I am currently reading Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Start Up, it’s about Theranos (Hulu series, check it out!)
How do you find working remotely?
I really enjoy working remotely. I have been remote for almost 8 years now, well before most of the world was remote. I do occasionally miss going into an office and having “coffee chats” with coworkers, but that makes the times we are able to get together so much more enjoyable! I find myself to be more productive and do not miss the traffic coming going to work or coming home.
Do you have a favorite saying, quote, or personal mantra and if so, what is it and why?
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” Albus Dumbledore. I love this quote because even in sad or dark times, I always try to find the happiness, hold on to a memory, and know there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Like most, I love spending time with my family and friends. Going to the beach or pool, Jaguar games, going on trips, and sometimes just relaxing when our lives aren’t busy!
