Notice

By submitting an application, you give consent to StageClip to use the submitted footage for marketing the program, including the StageClip website, social media channels, and similar platforms. Requirements for Video Applications

Welcome and thank you for applying for the StageClip “Elevate Your Voice, Make It Happen” Graduate Personal Branding Workshop Series!  We look forward to reviewing your application and to announcing the participants in the coming weeks.

Please review the following guidelines prior to submitting your video to support your journey in developing your best clip.

Requirements:

Framing & Wardrobe
When recording, use a plain wall (preferably white) as your background, making sure that there is room above you and on either side of you. Please avoid wearing white if you are filming in front of a white wall.

Footage Limit
Please record no less than 90 seconds and no more than 2 minutes of video for your submission.

Self-introduction
Include a brief introduction about yourself, your goals and why you wish to participate.

  • State your preferred name, graduation date, institution, major/degree to be earned
  • Why do you want to participate in the StageClip Personal Branding Certification Series?
  • What are your aspirations and goals post-graduation?

Audio
When recording, please make sure that your audio is clear. We advise leaving a 5-second gap before and after you speak to enable our audio team to make any corrections or adjustments to your sound if needed.

Don’t Use Special Effects
Please do not add effects or filters onto your footage. Our in-house editing team will ensure that you look amazing.

Don’t Add Background Music Or Sound Effects
This will make editing harder for our team and it may cause copyright issues.

Don’t Film Illegally
Please make sure that you have permission to record all individuals and locations that are featured in your video, as well as items, content, or brands that could cause copyright violations. Unapproved direct or indirect advertisement of products or services is also prohibited.

How To Send Us Your Video

Once you have captured all your footage please upload it to a Google drive (or similar) and share an open link to view and download in your application.
