StageClip welcomes Al Masaar SCIO as a sponsor for inaugural personal branding workshop series supporting college graduates

Press Release :: 28 October 2021

StageClip continues to empower graduates and support diverse communities through the Elevate Your Voice! #MakeItMatter global leadership program for college graduates

StageClip, Inc. today announced the addition of Scotland-based Al Masaar SCIO as a sponsor of its inaugural leadership program, “Elevate Your Voice! #MakeItMatter.” The series of workshops and expert panels unites a select group of rising college graduates from around the globe in a program designed to define and elevate their unique personal brand. Following the workshops, participants will create a polished professional video resume to bolster their professional careers.

Al Masaar SCIO, which translates to “Path to Progression,” is a charity organization located in Forth Valley, Scotland. The charity seeks to advance active citizenship and the contribution of diverse communities through promoting equality, diversity, dynamic citizenship, and assisting in removing barriers (e.g., language, isolation, discrimination, and exclusion) of diverse ethnic and cultural minority communities.

StageClip and IEO Lab have partnered to support graduates through the inaugural leadership program by assembling students from colleges in the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, Caribbean, Middle East, and North Africa for a series of expert-led workshops and trainings beginning in October and ending on November 18th, 2021.

“We are delighted that our respective visions are so well aligned, and we’re excited to partner with Al Masaar SCIO to elevate the voices of students from all backgrounds,” said Rupert Forsythe, co-founder and CEO of StageClip. “It’s wonderful to see the talent of our next generation and support them in telling their stories.”

Alongside this sponsorship, Al Masaar SCIO seeks to advance education through offering educational activities and training opportunities. Their focus is on programs that help these communities network, build their soft skills, and embrace their talents. This supports their mission to empower ethnic minority communities as a whole and their participation in wider society.

“This sponsorship will further help our communities in not only elevating them in finding their voices, but also inspiring them to realise what is possible,” said Sofia Akbar, founder and CEO of Al Masaar SCIO.

Through a series of five networking panel discussions, participants will grow to understand how industry, government, and academic thought-leaders are hiring in the current economic landscape. Students will then participate in four hands-on workshops with industry leaders designed to help them effectively articulate their professional story.

Through these workshops, participants will finalize their personal, polished StageClip video resume to be featured on StageClip, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms — along with a LinkedIn Certificate of Excellence for completing this program. The StageClip video resume is a strong addition to a traditional written resume or CV, and distinguishes participants from other applicants, showcasing their personality, interpersonal skills, and creativity.
